Home of the Roughriders!
Byron Miller, Ed.D,  Principal

  • The Student Publications crew gets some real-world inspiration on their Houston Chronicle tour.

  • Even the rain can't dampen our spirits when it comes to all the excitement surrounding CHS Homecoming!

  • It was a "run for the ('Rider) roses" at the 8-Second Derby, part of the IPC classes' inaugural Roughrider Triple Crown!

  • Upperclassmen pitch in to give newbies the grand tour during Fish Camp.

  • CHS students make the rounds at our annual college and career fair, which we also open to other area schools.

  • It's that Friday afternoon countdown, as the Roughriders get their spirit on with pep rally fun and excitement.

  • CHS teachers mix and mingle, baking up sweet treats to share in a faculty Christmas cookie swap in the library.

  • 'Riders take it down the court in another exciting hoops match-up.

  • Debaters help each other prep appearance as well as arguments -- it all matters!

  • There's nothing like celebrating with your teammates!

  • Rowdy the Roughrider brings super-sized spirit under those Friday night lights!

  • You can't hide that 'Rider pride -- especially when you just put on your brand new senior ring!
